As the need grows to maximize health impact with limited resources, modeling has become more important as a public health tool. The Coalition for Applied Modeling for Prevention (CAMP) is dedicated to improving public health decision-making through using statistical, epidemic simulation, and economic models to uncover new disease patterns and inform prevention policies in five areas: HIV, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis, and school/adolescent health.

Some CAMP models also inform clinical care and preventive services. CAMP is providing these continuing education credit opportunities free of charge, in support of evidence-based public health and clinical practices.

To receive continuing education credit:

This modeling research simulated various scenarios of PrEP coverage, risk compensation, and STI screening intervals to look at the impact of PrEP on STI incidence.
